Reading Material - Aug. 17

I've been disappointed in myself for not keeping up with my photo-a-day.  It's been challenging to find something that inspires me to take photos.  That's a lie.  Actually, it's been difficult to find something that inspires me to take out my camera.  Once the camera is out, I usually have no trouble finding things to take pictures of.  Whether I find them meaningful later is another story.  

I'm very behind on editing and posting as well.  It's just overwhelming now.  So here's my new plan of attack.  Less editing at once and more frequent posts.  We'll see if it works.  So above is today's photo. 

I'm currently reading the Dick Van Dyke autobiography.  I never really watched his show - before my time, but I really enjoy Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and his appearances on Scrubs.  I'm only five chapters in but he seems to skip over a lot of things.  Maybe those details just don't make good stories, but then the stories he does tell don't have a lot of detail.  It's almost like in comedy when you jump to the punchline and don't give enough setup.  Kind of ironic.
