Weekly Drawing 3 and 4

I just realized that I never posted weekly drawing 3 because it wouldn't let me upload it and then I forgot about it.
I've now edited it and here it is:


The theme for this one was detail. I decided to go with white on black because I think I'm better with that medium. It still didn't get ranked very high in class, but I think my drawings are more on par with everyone else's.

Weekly drawing 4 was supposed to show light entering a space and its affect. A lot of people were confused because my professor also wanted us to use color. Up to this point almost all the drawings had been done in black and white. He encouraged us to experiment with color and some people took that to be the theme. I did something in between. I was focusing on getting the colors right and wasn't really sure what he meant by light entering a space or light's effect on space, so I just drew my window shades and curtains.

Still ranked in the bottom, but like I said, I'm more in the range of the rest of the class so I don't feel so embarrassed anymore.
